The trip was amazing I loved it . Their culture was a lot different to our culture. They eat some foods that we don't, when we were on our camp we went down to the beach and the kids always took the spears with them. I really enjoyed the trip. I liked meeting new people, experiencing the Tiwi Islanders culture and finally seeing the people from the Pularumpi school because we have chatted to them on Skype since term 1.My favourite part of the trip was spending time with the Pularumpi kids. The trip was amazing! I loved everything about it and it truly was an amazing experience and I really did enjoy it. The culture change wasn't that big of a difference but it was different to what we were used to. It wasn't actually what I thought it would be, I had imagined it differently. Some of the major differences were that they caught fish with spears regularly and they didn't wear shoes

In Hotel, kids packing; all well but very tired. Shopping, not much left of their monies, wave pool, crocodiles, and seafood and steak dinner. Kids have requested their own bed, teachers have just requested parents : - ). We're home safely, and have had an awesome time. The children will update their blogs tomorrow morning, when I can bring them in from playing with everyone. Hello everyone, thanks for all your lovely comments. The children had an awesome day yesterday, twas long, 5:30am till 10:00pm, but they all did wonderfully well. We're heading up to Pitjamirra today - up country - to have a culture camp. The children are getting along well. It will be our first night out without ceiling fans, so that will be interesting. I am really exited about going to the Tiwi Islands and still can't believe my name got pulled out of the hat! I think it will be great to go to the top of Australia when we are practically down the bottom! I also think it will be good to understand a little more about how people who live in the same country as me can still have a different culture.

I am going to the Tiwi Island also i am very lucky because i got pulled out of the hat first and I am very excited because I have never been that far on a plane before. I am looking forward to meeting everyone over there and seeing there different culture.

I am very excited to have the chance to go to the Tiwi Islands. I think it is going to be an amazing experience and it is only three weeks away! The weather is going to be very different to our normal temperature and I have never been on a plane before. I am looking forward to meeting the Tiwi people.
